and in response to the energy crises of 2000, the $20 MM Market Re-design and
Technology Upgrade (MRTU) initiative focuses on improving/upgrading the
Business Processes and IT systems to assure delivery of power and to
create a “stock-market” like trading system for energy. Most complex
IT effort associated with bidding, scheduling, and settling energy
procurement transactions.
Scope
Served/Serving as Sr.
Test Manager and Sr. Project Manager responsible for development and
implementation of the Back Office Energy Procurement settlement
transactions. Directed project management and control including,
planning, scheduling, implementation, resource acquisition and
on-boarding, resource leveling, budget control, Software/Hardware
Architecture, Infra-structure, Transition to SOA/Middleware Architecture,
project costing and forecasting.

E-commerce Portal Project Manager
Project Background
Strategic E-Commerce initiative to link
vertical business portals for the purpose of cross-selling financial
products and services.
Scope
Deliver a Single Sign-On authorization of
the wholesale banking portal with the Private Banking and Business Banking
portals. Coordinated design, development, and implementation.
Project included both Project Management Life
Cycle and the Product Development Life Cycle including multiple design, development, and
testing teams, legal and compliance, marketing, sales and enrollment, and
three customer support channels.

400 MM, revamping/replacing the entire Auto Insurance business process and
related systems and databases
Scope
Directed project team of 15 analysts to detail
Business Requirements, UI simulation, and Use Cases as part of a $400MM
core auto-insurance system replacement effort. Effort included
detailing the integration of all legacy systems and third party
interfaces. Teamed with 22 project managers to plan the
inter-organizational requirements, deliverables, dependencies, milestones,
entry and exit-criteria for all enterprise departments, subsidiaries,
third party vendors, and government agencies. Portfolio included 120
different insurance business processes, 485 UI screens, linkage to three
major subsidiaries, 10 third party vendors, 40 interfaces with legacy
databases, and three state agencies. Project included responsibility
for establishing traceability for Requirements and corresponding QA test
conditions through linkage of Requisite Pro and Mercury Test Director

than 12 months, teamed with RHI’s IT Director and Executive Management in
turning around a troubled $120MM core enterprise application and
infrastructure integration project. Project included all core
systems, from client facing to Peoplesoft Reporting Tools
Scope
Designed/implemented
critical project application development methodology (customized
SDLC/RUP), program management processes and Master Project Scheduling that
positioned the project to successful completion. Teamed with 15
project managers to establish a 7,500 task Master Project Schedule from
Requirements to Implementation. Master Schedule included all
inter-organizational requirements, deliverables, dependencies, milestones,
entry/exit criteria, third party vendors, and infrastructure configuration
changes. Portfolio included 7 software release iterations, Quality
Assurance, UAT, Alpha and Beta testing and coordination with and linkage
to the implementation plan prepared by Accenture Consulting.

Developed the high level functional
requirements and first draft business requirements for internet banking
including automation for all front office and back-office operations.
Managed/developed the Data Dictionary for the common internet banking
