Consulate General of
the Netherlands, Program Director
Teamed with representatives of the Dutch Government and the Office of
the Consulate General of the Netherlands - Economic & Cultural Affairs
(Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Economic Affairs, Finance, Consul General,
and Regional Honorary Consuls) in establishing a new organization to
facilitate trade between the Netherlands and the US. Coordinated all
inter-agency and inter-organizational requirements, deliverables,
dependencies, milestones, entry criteria, and exit criteria.
Designed/deployed an international business portal including content,
international business database, and administrative infrastructure.
Portal content was merged/acquired with/by larger Government sponsored
internet site, significant contributing to the growth of international
trade between the Netherlands and the USA

For the above three clients - I started with
evaluating the product and business concept. Once accepted as
feasible, I established the overall corporate, administrative and
financial infrastructure. Defined corporate concept and business
development strategy. Developed business plan and pro-forma
financial projections, and web-presence, Positioned these clients
for funding, and presented company to private investors, potential Fortune
500 partners, and venture capitalists.
Ascona Communications Inc. –
CFO/COO
Due to internal fraud, client experienced severe negative cash flow and
was on the brink of collapse. In 18 months, led a $12MM turn-around
to profitability. Reduced financial commitments by 80%,
re-structured the Balance Sheet by converting start-up Long Term Notes to
Equity and re-classifying expenses, negotiated reduction in Sate and
Federal Taxes, introduced new sales channels, and expanded into the
European market. Positioned the company for acquisition valued at
$17MM. Directory is currently the world's largest US Music Industry
